Innovative teaching and learning methods other than memorizing or duplicating someone's findings need to be introduced to allow students to remain relevant and stay abreast with the needs of developing and developed nations. The main issue that needs to be addressed is how to meet the challenges of delivering suitable and sufficient content and skills training in an effective way that genuinely improves outcomes for students
The 21st century workforce needs to respond flexibly to complex problems, communicate effectively, manage information, work in teams and produce new knowledge. Fueling creativity, innovation and adaptability that are the hallmarks of competitive, high-growth and emerging industries requires a highly skilled, creative and nimble workforce (Ewing Marlon Kauffman Foundation, 2007).
